About G. R. Tobin
G. R. Tobin is a graduate of Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University where she majored in Creative Writing (Fiction) and minored in French. Tobin has worked as the Editorial Assistant and Social Media Manager for Transformation Narratives. Additionally, she is the former Interview and Fiction Editor for the online literary magazine, Superstition Review. She is also the former copywriter at the digital marketing company, Prioritize Success, and the former Media and Communications Coordinator for ASU's Global Futures Laboratory. Currently, Tobin lives in Phoenix, AZ, where she is working as a writer for the publishing company, BrightRay Publishing.
Artist Statement
The works I create depict the world in a hyper-realistic way with a frame that emphasizes the beauty and importance of everyday life. My mediums are fiction and poetry, though I tend to blur the lines between the two. I write because I hope to iron out more minds than my own.
